this would be great considering that our only lan center, gigabits, (that was also in orlando) that held tournaments/was decent closed down recently. not sure how many people out of the 8 teams that showed up to the last gigabits would bring their own computers though

I'd go to anywhere in the south east, personally. Florida sounds good. I think the BEST location for any BYOC is the Kentucky Expo Center where they hosted Million Man Lan and LanWars

how about make a poll asking what major city each esea member lives in or near. the winning city is where your next LAN finals shall be held.

Having it in a 'major' city city or near some of the ESEA members doesn't really mean success. If it is in a place where pretty much anyone in the country can go to = win

i can appreciate you wanting the event to be near you, but make no mistake, NO one is going to carpool for anything over an hour drive or hop on a plane to watch this event. it's obvious that the live spectator aspect of the event is becoming more and more appealing to ESEA, so if reasoning and logic play any sort of factor in the decision of where to hold the next event, it should be where the most people live directly near to.

if it were held in NYC, i would definitely go, but i'd also survive if it were held in texas again and i couldnt see it. so that's my perspective on it.

I actually would consider traveling to it...even take a computer with me
